I started my career as a intern at a large university in Rio de Janeiro as a typist ...

​I held this position for 3 days ;) ... Until I offered to finish a project in the "Graphic Arts and Design" department, replacing an employee who was dismissed...

​From that moment on, I occupied the position of "Designer and Art Finalist" at the university.

​One of the dean's, who was also responsible for the "Graphic Arts and Design" department, was very impressed with my work and asked for my immediate transfer to the department.

​This was the first of many memorable moments in my career.

​

It was the breaking dawn of the internet age in Brazil in the late 90s, when I obstinately explored the new design tools... I started to get into the use of Adobe Flash to create less static and tedious sites like those that were common until then.

​This resulted in my will to be a freelance designer and developer focused on the internet. What brought me a great professional learning, recognition, and the subsequent hiring by companies of great visibility...

​The presentation I developed for a large advertising company at an "International Marketing Seminar", in São Paulo, was one of the most rewarding results of that learning.

​

Having already made the transition to IT, but without ever leaving aside Design, I was hired by a company to deal with two major challenges:

The company was going through the migration of its ERP System and needed someone to model the data from the previous system and import it into the new one. Task that I managed to accomplish successfully and that made me responsible for all the company's IT department.

The second challenge was the integration of software and processes betwin the headquarters in Rio de Janeiro with the branches in Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo.

Another task successfully accomplished and at the cost of many air miles ;) ... since I was the only IT professional in the company.

As an IT supervisor for a large transportation company, I faced the challenge of coordinating different development teams and service providers, take care of IT department, technical infrastructure, electronic security, automation, training and development.

​But the biggest challenges were the incorporation, not simultaneous, of 6 different companies in a enterprise group.

​The merge of systems, processes and cultures is a task that requires great dedication, commitment and organization to be carried out successfully.

​Fortunately, this is another success story that I can be proud of.

​

As an ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certified Internal Auditor, it was very fulfilling to be part of the company certification process  as a team leader from day one.

I developed technical documentation, created "internal rules and procedures", trained and coordinated professionals and so on...

With a lot of dedication and with a harmonious and committed team, I received the certificates won by the company as my own... After all, a company is only certified by ABNT¹ in three standards at once, as a result of the outstanding work of all the professionals involved... Especially those who actively participate in the front line of certification process.

Today, I provide consultancy to companies of all sizes, responding to the new market demand (started by covid pandemic) for professionals capable of providing services remotely without detriment to the quality of the company's processes and performance.

​I believe that superior professional quality is the result of passion for what is done, constant improvement, retention of learning and lived experiences ... Without ever forgetting that, within each professional, there is a person, who deserves recognition and quality of life.
